"Antalya public bread factory, established by Sarmaşık Makine on a turnkey basis by applying state-of-the-art technology, started production. The Mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Muhittin Böcek visited the Public Bread Factory on the first day of production and examined the plant.

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality opened the Public Bread Factory with a daily production capacity of 120 thousand loaves of bread. Public Bread Factory, which was built by the Metropolitan Municipality company EKDAĞ on a thousand square meter closed area and an open area of 2 thousand 200 square meters in Döşemealtı, was established with the technology of Sarmaşık Makine, Turkey's leading Industrial Bakery Machines manufacturer. Sarmaşık Makine has established large-scale bread factories in many parts of the world and also in Anatolia in recent years.  

 Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek made inspections at the Public Bread Factory, which started production. President Böcek visited the Public Bread Factory, and examined and tasted the first pieces of bread produced along with the employees. He received information about the works from Hasan Gökçe, Chairman of EKDAĞ. Muhittin Böcek said, 'Our factory, which has a closed area of 1000 square meters, complies with all standards. It has state-of-the-art equipment. The factory can produce 120 thousand loaves of bread per day. It was a duty to deliver delicious, healthy, reliable, and cheap bread to our citizens. We are happy to bring Public Bread, the bread of the public, to Antalya again. Best wishes on that,' he said..."
